There are so many things I don't like about the doctor's office. And before you all go nodding your head (I mean you, there, in the back), the anxiety and the whole "I'm going die" chant aren't even the half of it.
I was going to get into it ... here ... just now ... but really I just want to cut to the chase and explain that I am fine. (and thank you for thinking of me) My doctor went over my letter and then she showed me the letter she received. They were really two different things.
Her letter explained, in medical terms obviously, that due to my dense breast tissue they were recommending a six month follow up to get a better view. There was no mention of any spot. We discussed how if there had been anything even remotely questionable a biopsy would be ordered. They do not take chances these day on anything.
So that was very reassuring. My doctor said she would speak with the hospital about the wording of the generic letter so that it isn't so alarming.
